The Mobile Rota-Loo

The material used in the construction of the Mobile Rota-Loo is a 50mm thick, light weight and thermally insulated panel. This helps make the system an extremely efficient waterless composting toilet as it creates its own microclimate which provides all the necessary conditions for efficient composting with a rapid decomposition rate and no odour. The design of the unit creates its own passive venting system, this is done through thermal convection, thus eliminating the need for power or fans.

In some applications the Mobile Rota-Loo may be required for operation at night when it is not possible to guarantee passive ventilation so a DELUXE MODEL has been designed
with the following features;

• Short and robust galvanized trailer with brakes and suspension,
• Lowest possible physical height,
• A water tank has been built into the internal step with an outside tap,
• Skylight mounted into the door,
• Pedestal seat with self opening flaps or a separating pedestal,
• Internal bunker light with switch, 12V fan mounted in the vent pipe,
• External mounted battery box if power is required.

A STANDARD MODEL is available without the electrical components or wiring and no water tank.
The BASIC MODEL comes without the trailer and is mounted on skids. This unit was designed to be lifted by air or by truck into remote areas such as walking tracks.

Because of the super insulated properties of the construction material the unit can double as a high altitude toilet facility and an emergency shelter when required.

Please check with your local distributor for current prices and call if you require additional information or if you have a specific project that could utilize this new direction in transportable sanitation systems. The Mobile Rota-Loo is an Australian and New Zealand patented product.
